Dear Cutler-Orosi Families,

We understand that recent sightings of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in our region have caused concern, anxiety, and fear within our community. We are writing to reassure you that the safety, well-being, and emotional security of your children remain our highest priority.

Every single student has a protected right to learn in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Our schools are places of education, growth, and care, and protecting these spaces are a commitment we live out every day.

We are also committed to supporting our families. Our Family Education Center continues to provide immigration resources, including meetings with immigration attorneys. Please see the resources below.

Our district personnel are trained and prepared to protect student privacy and the integrity of our schools. If ICE officers ever enter our school grounds, parents and guardians will be notified immediately. Under California Law (AB 49), school officials may not give immigration agents access to nonpublic areas of our campuses without a valid judicial warrant or court order.

Your children are safe in our care, and we are committed to educating and supporting them every day. Thank you for your continued trust.
